BITSPAWN x APEX LEGEND SERIES Tournament Rules

COMPETITION FORMAT

• Registration period: 3pm to 8pm Est
• Competition date: Oct 31st, 2021
• Competition format: Games will be played on Apex Legends Cross Platform.
• Games are played battle royale format playing 2 matches — no teams or account sharing permitted.
• Scores will be pulled automatically from Apex Private Server after the match has ended and updated in 5 mins. Any disputes will be investigated and resolved on a case-by-case basis. Participants are encouraged to take screen captures or pictures of every result and must screen capture protests and/or disputes.
• Participants must be 16 years of age or older as of February 20, 2021
• Participants should be prepared to stream their gameplay to Twitch (or a similar platform) should the content be used on Bitspawn socials.
• The tournament will run on an accelerated schedule, and as such participants are expected to communicate in a timely manner with admins to ensure the tournament is not held up at any point. All admin decisions regarding time management are final.

Game Rules

Players that register for the tournament are fully aware and responsible for understanding the tournament rules.

Matches are cross platform

Competitors will need to add each other as friends if you do not have a team joining the event on Bitspawn Discord prior to matches, but they can be removed afterwards.

Connection problems happen, but matches cannot wait or be replayed due to connection issues. If a player fails to connect or runs into connect issues the matches will continue as expected

If a player quits, exits, or disconnects from a match regardless of the situation, it is the responsibility of the opponent to notify the admins for assistance to come up with a resolution.

Cheating is NOT allowed nor is fixing a match to better your chances of winning. Doing so will result in a match forfeit, or potentially banned from tournament

Photo or video evidence is required if you claim your opponent has broken any of the rules. Failure to show any proof will result invalid.

If it is discovered that a participant does not meet the player eligibility criteria (ie: age restrictions), they will be disqualified from the competition.

Absolutely no bullying, profanity or inappropriate language will be tolerated and will lead to immediate disqualification

The scoring mechanism is provided at the bottom of the page to highlight how scores will be tallied in the 2 matches played. If the scoring doesn’t match the results tallied, please inform an Admin immediately

All admin decisions are final. Admins have the right to make decisions regarding the tournament’s competitive integrity at any time.
